Environmental Action in Schools

Recipients of the Environmental Action in Schools Data Contributor digital badge participated in a project led by Ten Strands and CalRecycle that explores how environmental literacy and climate action are being integrated at the school-site level in California. This project supports a state law (AB 649, Bennett, 2022) focused on strengthening environmental justice and ensuring that all communities, including schools, are supported in this work. Data collected through this project will help CalRecycle and partners better understand current practices and identify ways to more effectively support schools.
