On March 31, 2023, CSEA and Rio representatives met for the third day of negotiations.  During the collaborative session, the parties came to a tentative agreement on all articles. The final tentative agreement includes a 9% on schedule salary increase retroactive to July 1, 2022.

February 16, 2023

The Rio School District and CSEA negotiations team met for the first day of negotiations. The process was collaborative with both sides sharing their point of view and documents to continue moving the process forward.

The District presented a proposal with changes to consider in the area of probationary employees rights to transfers, a collaborative reclassification study process, and layoff language to ensure processes are in place to protect employees in the future.

CSEA provided a counter proposal on the Districts proposal on probationary employees.

At this point in the process negotiations are ongoing and the teams will reconvene on March 7, 2023 to continue the process.
