Dual Immersion Program Information Meetings

The Rio School District offers the Dual Immersion Academies at Rio Real and Río Plaza School for students
from Transitional kindergarten through fifth grade at Río Plaza and through eighth grade at Río Real. In this
program, students who are English learners and students who are native English speakers are taught in Spanish
and English (90/10 model) in one classroom to develop academic proficiency in both languages, starting in
kindergarten and for a minimum of six years.
