“For My People”

(Inspired by “For My People”poem by Margaret Walker)

This is for my people that had a hard time in life,

with big hearts

and caring to help people.

For my people,

who can’t speak Spanish,nor English

who try to do what is right.

For my people,

who are the ones that know how to cook

who are able to speak two languages.

For my people,

who are willing to help each other

who are the ones who fight for each other.

For my people,

keep working hard to complete your goal!
