ATHLETICS FUNDRAISING LETTER FOR PARENTS
Dear Condor Parents and/or Guardians,
As you know, Rio Vista Athletics depends on successful fundraisers to provide funds necessary to continue offering important pieces educational opportunities for the student body. We’ve researched several opportunities, and are excited to launch this year’s finest chocolates.
We’re asking for your assistance and support with this important opportunity to provide Rio Vista Athletics and student-athletes with enhanced equipment and uniforms. Each child is being asked to sell one box of the world’s finest chocolates, and additional boxes of chocolates are available for kids who wish to participate at a higher level. One box of chocolates are only $60, 60 bars at $1 per bar, and are sure to appeal to your friends, family members, and co-workers. We will be handing these boxes to your student-athlete. It is the student-athlete and their parents/guardians to return $60 cash or check or box with bars and money. If nothing is turned back in, you will be responsible for $60 and be billed until it is paid. Your student-athlete may be at risk of losing their end of year privileges.
Of course, the more boxes of chocolates each child sells, the better chance we have of reaching our overall fundraising goal of $3000 to fund league fees, uniforms, soccer balls, goals, and any additional equipment needed for other Spring sports. Special prizes have been set aside for the top student-athlete that sells the most boxes. Those who have the highest sales will receive their awards at an upcoming practice.
