Rio School District hosted its 1st Annual Family and Community Workshop on October 27th 2018. It was a great success and will continue to expand in the coming years. The event was highlighted with mini workshops for parents and community members. The workshops covered an array of themes including: Empowering Youth, Empowering Parents, Pathways to Success, Family Safety, Positive Parenting, Self Care and Early Childhood. There was also a Community Fair, Student Performances, and Raffles. It was a very successful debut and we look forward to more to come next year.
