Inspired by the poem, “For My People’,

This is for my people, strong sporters

with gear pads

and bruises

For my people,

who others say are rough and aggressive

who others say are weak and can’t play

For my people,

who are focused and serious

who are the ones who play to win

For my people,

who are supportive and don’t give up

who are fast on reflexes and play a good game

For my people

keep playing hard!

Stay strong!
