Chromebooks

ChromeBooks make a lot of sense for education and for students – they are cheap (about $150-$250), they are rugged (SSD drives instead of spinning hard drives), they have very long lasting batteries (better than 8 hours between charges), they start up really quickly, and they are optimized for accessing web-based applications, especially Google Apps.  Check out the links below for more information about using Chromebooks.
